Quick start

  1. Install the script from the repository: in PixInsight Resources › Updates › Manage Repositories › Add, address https://astroveris-aggiornamenti.pages.dev/, then Check for Updates and close PixInsight. Alternatively download the zip from the portal and add its folder with Script › Feature Scripts…
  2. Open Script › X20 › Astroveris, press Copy next to the computer code and paste it into the portal: you get a permit to paste into the Licence box.
  3. Press Target and select the exposures folder, including any calibration subfolders.
  4. Press Go. Results go to the Astroveris-output subfolder, or to the folder chosen with Output. Cancel stops after the current process; Go resumes from there.

Questions

Do I need PixInsight?

Yes. Astroveris is a script that uses the standard PixInsight processes; PixInsight is sold separately by Pleiades Astrophoto.

Does it use generative AI or third-party neural networks?

No. It uses only the signal of your exposures and standard PixInsight processes. It needs neither StarNet nor StarXTerminator.

On how many computers can I use it?

Two. Each computer works up to 30 days offline; then renew the permit from the portal.

How do I move the licence to another computer?

Deactivate the old computer in the portal. The seat becomes free when the permit already issued expires, at most after 30 days.

What is sent to X20?

When you activate a computer: your account and a fingerprint of the computer (a computed code, not its name or system identifier). No images, no exposure files.

How much does it cost?

Price and terms will be published when sales open. Purchase is not available today.

Can I try it first?

A trial is not planned at this stage.
